Inspiration

Inspired by the need for a fast, efficient, and AI-powered file management system, Clever Cloud integrates advanced vector search and interactive 3D visualization to revolutionize how we interact with digital content.

What it does

Clever Cloud allows users to upload, manage, search, and summarize PDF files using a high-dimensional vector search powered by an embeddings model. Users can visualize the relationships between files in a 3D space and perform searches by drawing, enhancing understanding, retrieval, and interaction with data.

How we built it

This platform was developed using React for the frontend and Flask for the backend, with PostgreSQL for database management, MinIO for object storage, and Pinecone for scalable vector search. Three.js was utilized for rendering 3D visualizations of file vectors.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating multiple technologies (Flask, React, Pinecone, MinIO) presented significant challenges, particularly in ensuring seamless communication and efficient data handling.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Successfully implementing a super fast and responsive vector search that significantly reduces the time needed to locate files. Additionally, our 3D visualization provides an innovative way to interact with data.
