Inspiration

Managing contracts, milestones, and obligations in today's fast-paced world can be chaotic and overwhelming. We wanted to build a solution that doesn’t just streamline document signing but also connects milestones and deadlines to your daily schedule. Inspired by the idea of making life easier for professionals, ClearView was born—designed to simplify agreement management and keep you on track.

What it does

ClearView revolutionizes the contract management process by offering:

  1. Document upload and secure sharing with signers using the DocuSign API.
  2. Real-time signing and status updates via webhooks for signed or declined documents.
  3. Milestone and obligation tracking within agreements.
  4. Google Calendar integration for syncing agreements and deadlines. ## How we built it Our team combined cutting-edge tools and APIs to create ClearView:

Frontend: Developed using React.js for an intuitive and responsive user interface. Backend: Built with Java and Spring Boot for robust performance. Database: Used PostgreSQL for structured data and MongoDB for flexibility in storing agreements. APIs: DocuSign APIs for document management, Google Calendar API for milestone tracking, and OAuth2: for secure authentication. Deployment: Hosted on Render with file storage on AWS S3 buckets.

Challenges we ran into

Building ClearView wasn’t without hurdles:

  1. Learning and integrating DocuSign and Google Calendar APIs.
  2. Handling webhook notifications in real time with secure and reliable backend architecture.
  3. Balancing multiple tech stacks—Java and JavaScript—effectively within our workflow.
  4. Designing an intuitive user experience that’s both powerful and easy to navigate. ## Accomplishments that we're proud of
