Inspiration
The opioid crisis continues to devastate communities, with many individuals struggling to access the care they need. Long wait times, complicated healthcare systems, and a lack of resources prevent people from receiving timely treatment. Inspired by the need for a streamlined approach, we created ClearPath to simplify access to opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment and provide hope for those seeking recovery.
What it does
ClearPath is a platform that helps individuals easily find and access OUD treatment. It connects users with nearby clinics, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) resources, and support services. The platform also offers real-time information, helping individuals navigate the recovery process with clear, actionable steps tailored to their needs.
How we built it
We built ClearPath using modern web technologies, integrating databases to provide up-to-date information on treatment options. The platform leverages mapping services to help users locate nearby care facilities and integrates healthcare APIs to ensure data accuracy. With a user-friendly design, ClearPath aims to make the process of finding treatment as seamless as possible.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges we faced was integrating real-time healthcare data and ensuring the platform's accuracy across various regions. The complexity of building a system that addresses the nuanced needs of individuals struggling with OUD also presented technical and ethical challenges, requiring us to consider factors such as privacy and accessibility.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud to have developed a platform that directly addresses a pressing public health issue. We're also proud of the collaborative effort that went into making ClearPath a reality, from the technical design to the user experience.

Our long-term goal is to evolve ClearPath into a comprehensive recovery companion that offers personalized, ongoing support throughout an individual's recovery journey.
