Clearly Eczema Management Tool

Inspiration

I created Clearly Eczema Management Tool to help people better track their eczema symptoms, triggers, and skincare routines. I wanted to make eczema management easier by organizing daily observations into useful insights.

What it does

Clearly allows users to record flare-ups, symptoms, and potential triggers in one place. It helps users monitor patterns and better understand their eczema over time.

How I built it

I built the application using Next.js and TypeScript, with CSS/JavaScript for styling and functionality. I used AWS DynamoDB to store and manage user data.

Challenges I ran into

I faced challenges designing an efficient database structure, integrating DynamoDB, and creating a simple but effective experience for users.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I built a full-stack application that addresses a real-world problem, implemented cloud-based data storage, and created a tool focused on improving eczema management.

What I learned

What's next for Clearly Eczema Management Tool

Next, I plan to expand the daily check-in feature with more detailed tracking options and add more recommended products to the shopping tab. I also hope to continue improving the user experience and making eczema management more personalized.
