Inspired by classic spoof commercials, I wanted to create a product that solved a very modern problem: "red flags" in dating. What if you could literally see them?

What it does

This 52-second video is a complete, high-concept spoof commercial. It advertises a fictional product, "TrueView" dating glasses, that reveals your date's "red flags" in real-time.

How we built it

I used AI to generate realistic commercial footage and then added the "AR" (Augmented Reality) UI graphics in post-production. The gags ("Mommy issues," "Three baby mommas") were written to be fast and funny, and the jingle at the end seals the "spoof" concept.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was designing a clean, believable AR interface that was also funny. The text had to be legible and land at the exact right moment.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It looks and sounds like a real commercial. The jingle, the graphics, and the VO all come together perfectly. It's a complete, polished piece.

What we learned

The little details are what make a spoof ad feel authentic. The cheesy jingle and the fake product name ("TrueView") are just as important as the visuals.

What's next for Clear Vision

This is a complete, standalone ad. It's a concept I can use for a web series of other "fake products."
