Help the environment!

What it does

Compares different travel methods (driving, transit, biking, walking) to find which one produces the least carbon emissions.

How we built it

We built the app on XCode and implemented Google's Maps and Distance APIs. We employed Alamofire and SwiftyJson to fetch and read data from Google's servers. We also implemented a web version with html5 and javascript.

Challenges we ran into

We were relatively new to all the software we used and had difficulty implementing and debugging.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finally debugging our errors and implementing the APIs to the best of our ability.

How to use Google's APIs and becoming more familiar with XCode and Swift.

What's next for CleanRoute

More features including traffic and stoppage analysis and how they affect CO2 output. Using algorithms to determine the best route.
