We all need to create a cleaner environment for each other.

CleanCityMap helps people locate restrooms, trash cans, and water fountains in New York City, making it easier to maintain cleanliness and improve convenience for everyone.

We learned how to utilize APIs to generate data.

We build CleanCityMap by integrating location data with a map API, using a user-friendly interface for marking and finding restrooms and trash cans, water fountains, powered by a backend database and real-time user contribution

We used JavaScript to utilize the data and HTML and CSS to create a website to display the map to the public.

We're proud of creating a user-driven map that makes finding restrooms, trash cans, and water fountains easier, helping promote cleaner and more accessible urban spaces.

We struggled to create the toggle buttons for the map.

Next for CleanCityMap is expanding to more cities, improving real-time data accuracy, adding features like user ratings and reviews, and collaborating with local authorities to enhance the map's coverage and impact.
