Our inspiration is drawn from the passion of individuals and communities who are committed to making the world a cleaner and more sustainable place, one cleanup campaign at a time.

What it does

Our project serves as a comprehensive platform for environmental conservation. It enables users to create and participate in cleanup campaigns, providing all the necessary tools and information to make these campaigns successful. Users can specify campaign titles, descriptions, dates, times, and the location of areas they wish to clean. It also facilitates the uploading of photos to document the current condition of the cleanup site. Beyond organizing cleanup events, our platform uses blockchain technology to track plastic waste, offering traceability from waste collection to recycling. This not only promotes cleaner environments but also rewards and incentivizes community members for their contributions to a more sustainable world.

How we built it

We built our project by combining the power of blockchain technology with a user-friendly React-based interface. Smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain manage campaign creation, contributions, and plastic waste traceability. Our iterative development approach involved extensive testing, security measures, and active community engagement. The result is a platform that empowers users to create and join cleanup campaigns, providing detailed campaign information and allowing photo uploads to document the cleanup site's condition. We're driven by a commitment to environmental conservation and the belief in technology's potential to create a cleaner and more sustainable world.

Challenges we ran into
