Inspiration
Classroom Genius was inspired by the need for an AI-powered platform that helps teachers create engaging, interactive lessons while simplifying classroom management. Many existing tools lack flexibility, automation, and gamification, so we set out to build a solution that makes learning fun, interactive, and AI-driven.
What It Does
Classroom Genius provides teachers with an AI-powered dashboard to enhance student learning through:
- AI-generated quizzes, assignments, and study guides
- Locked mode for secure testing
- Interactive study games & escape rooms
- AI chatbots for personalized learning assistance
- Classroom management with student dashboards
Students can join classrooms, complete assignments, and generate study materials, all within an easy-to-use interface.
How We Built It
- Frontend: React.js with a blue-and-white UI (dark mode toggle included).
- Backend: Node.js & Express.js with MongoDB for managing users, assignments, and quiz results.
- AI Integration: AI dynamically generates quizzes, study guides, and practice exercises.
- Security Features: "Locked mode" prevents students from leaving the quiz tab.
- Deployment: GitHub, Netlify (frontend), and Render (backend) for seamless hosting.
