Inspiration
The new normal has moved the traditional classrooms online. Teachers are finding it hard to adapt to this new online experience as they are not well versed with the tech-savvy platforms out there. Classroom connect aims to solve this problem by providing a very easy-to-use platform for teachers.
What it does
Classroom connect is a one-stop tool for teachers to manage all their classroom interactions. It acts as a gateway between teachers and students to interact, ask questions, clear doubts, submit assignments and what not! It also sends real-time SMS notifications in case messages are missed! This is powered by Twilio
How I built it
Classroom connect is built using ReactJS on the frontend, Nodejs and expressjs on the backend, Stream to power chat functionality, and Twilio to send SMS notifications
Challenges I ran into
Connecting the frontend to the backend was a bit hard

Building a fully functional and easy-to-use application that will help teachers and students across the world is something I am proud of!
