Inspiration
We wanted to make it easier for college students to chat with each other, and alleviate the need for people to manually invite their classmates into a group chat.
What it does
Classmate! allows students to search through a list of classes in their school and join a groupchat automatically, without anyone inviting them!
How I built it
Our team at PennApps built it using a Flask backend, MongoDB database, Xcode, and Swift.
Challenges I ran into
We had some difficulty sending http requests to our Flask backend and connecting information from our database to our client-side.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We were able to work together as a team and learn new technologies!
What I learned
We learned how to integrate an iOS application with a Flask backend.
