Inspiration

As college students, we constantly juggle between multiple platforms like Canvas for assignments, calendars for schedules, and reminders for deadlines. However, Canvas doesn’t offer an integrated class routine view, which makes it harder to manage time efficiently. That inspired us to create 'CLASSMATE AI,' a simple yet powerful app that combines class schedules, assignments, and reminders in one place.

What it does

CLASSMATE AI helps students organize their class schedule, assignments, and deadlines for efficient time management. Just add your classes with times, locations, and instructor details. Link assignments and reminders directly to each course. Get a clear, unified view of your academic workload (all in one dashboard)

How we built it

We built this web app using: Airtable as the backend database to manage and sync all data dynamically. Airtable Interface Designer / Custom UI for the front-end interface. Clean, color-accessible design for a smooth experience for both color-blind and non-color-blind users.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating schedule and assignment data into a single interactive interface. Ensuring smooth navigation and accessibility for all users. Time constraints during the hackathon while testing and refining features.
