Our dreams and hopes resolve around providing unapologetically innovative projects. We look at Kubernetes and gaze into the future.

What it does

We provide automated dynamic security scanning, through a scalable infrastructure built on kubernetes and automation of owasp zap scanning tool.

How We built it

We build 4 respoitories.

• 2 repositories comprise the kubernetes cluster inside Azure Cloud. Its the infrastructure where the docker container of the OWASP Zap lives.
• 2 repositories comprise of the DAST mechanism for build and deploy of scanning tools We Build a kubernetes cluster We built a BigQuery Datastudio integration We automated OWASP ZAP scanning tool

Challenges We ran into

We had to switch approaches and move from the ELK solution to the BigQuery + Datastudio solution in under 8 hours. We had to build a new docker image for Owasp Zap. We build a kubernetes cluster from scratch in under 8 hours

Everything listed as a challenge

What We learned

We learned how to work with kubernetes, BigQuery, Datastudio, building GitLab pipelines, building Docker images, automating ZAP with python, creating DataStudio Dashboards but most importantly: working as a team and having fun!
