Inspiration

Having worked in the startup environment, our team understood the challenges faced by a small team of administrative in handling customer enquiries and issues. Hence, leveraging the vast extent of AI we wanted to make this task as automated and simple as possible to make email management for startups ad businesses as easy as possible.

What it does

Since companies usually have a single email for handling all types of customer enquiries (such as support@xxx.com), whenever an email is received, it will simplify and classify the email and add it to a to-do list, as well as assigning who is in charge of it.

How we built it

We built it the backend using Supabase and frontend using Next JS. Since we didn't have time to actually develop the full email webhook, we used make.com to sync the email into our database.

Challenges we ran into

Coordinating team members was a challenge as they fell sick, so they were not able to support us too much.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have developed a professional user interface and created a working AI classifier in such a short period of time.

What we learned

We learned a bit of prompt engineering and how we can integrate ChatGPT in our projects.

What's next for Classi-fi

Getting the full automation to work by allowing users to register with Google, which will automatically sync emails with our database.
