ClassBook

Inspiration

What inspired me was my struggles in paying attention in class, and not being able to catch up after zoning out.

What it does

It provides a means to go back to view lectures again, and also watch other students present their understanding of a lecture in order to get a wider range of perspectives on the topic.

How I built it

I build wireframes for this project using Adobe XD.

Challenges I ran into

Challenges I ran into are my whole group leaving me mid-project, not knowing how to start building my idea in code, and not having enough time to complete a full demonstration of how clear my idea is when it comes to its end result.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am proud of staying through the whole hackathon and working on this project, even if just a prototype, because it is still a start nevertheless.

What I learned

I learned that projects are a lot of hard work, but that hackathons are really not too hard if there is a group and a solid idea, then it can be done.

What's next for ClassBook

What's next for ClassBook is to possible build this application with real code and have an actual presentation of it somewhere else in order to have something to submit and show others next time in order to hopefully get teachers to slowly start using this more and more integrated within their classes.
