Had to do a final project for a UML course I took in school. Instead of writing up a boring final paper describing the history of UML and how to properly class model, we decided to take on a interactive approach and create a website that allows users to read the information in the format that is actually appealing.

How it works

Basic html files, and a javascript plugin for the quiz portion. The content is straight-foreward and we skipped out on some of the more advance techniques that are beyond the basics of UML class modeling.

Challenges I ran into

  • Deriving the content for the materials, and making the site interactive enough to make it enjoyable for users.
  • Coming up with solid questions that can help build foundational knowledge of UML class diagramming.
  • Learning UML.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

  • Fully Responsive
  • Completing the project within 8 hours and doing a final take-home in conjunction
  • Original Design
  • Smooth UX experience

What I learned
