My goal is to give people the chance to learn and improve in a stress-free way. I want you to be able to focus all your energy on learning and relaxing, rather than having to stay up late making your own practice sets and stressing over every assignment. Just log in, practice, and have a good time.

I made this game because I don't like the current way that classes are structured. Every quiz, homework assignment, or otherwise “practice” material can have a real impact on your grade. Performing poorly on one of these practice assignments not only affects people's grades but also their mental health. I wanted to provide people with a “safe” place to practice without worrying about how their mistakes might affect their grades. I want their main focus to be on the topics given, and not on how their parents or friends might react to their poor grades.

Furthermore, I find that even if they have the time, people often push off work such as textbook readings or large practice assignments because the huge wall of text or large time commitment for the activity is simply intimidating. For this reason, I made a game with short quizzes and much smaller bodies of text, educating people on issues. My hope is that people may do a lesson if they have 10-15 minutes of free time, as that is all they should take.

Lastly, I am well aware that gamified learning is less efficient than just studying using a textbook. However, assuming that reading a textbook would be the 100% most efficient way of studying and playing a game like this is 70% as efficient (these are made-up numbers), 100% of nothing, because people are too discouraged to even start, is 0. This is the entire point of the app; I want people to start and become familiar with the topics and classes that they are interested in.
