Inspiration
Do you know that the drop-out rate in American colleges is over 30%? That's our motivation! We want to engage students in their studies and campus life in general. Ultimately we want to help them get the degree!
What it does
It is a chat app that enables students to learn anything about their university through a friendly chatUX.
It also allows students to communicate with each other on their studies, organized by course.
How we built it
- Pinecone as knowledge base
- OpenAI for text embeddings and answer generation
- LangChain for its Q & A library
- React (Native) for frontend
- AWS for deployment

What's next for Class Buzz
We will talk to students in person (starting with one or two colleges) and see how they respond to/use/think of our app. Then we'll iterate on the product until we find the product market fit.
