CLASH OF SLOPS

Inspiration

The inspiration for for this, is those instagram ads whose games are really simple in concept, we implemented the nonsense of it into our video as well. It's very much a project that is representative of our current day and age where everything feels quite funny and unserious, that's very much what we wanted to capture here and it allowed us to learn a bunch as well which is great.

What it does

It is a game that asks ai to generate an image and that image is then displayed to 2 matched users. Those users will end up having to guess what prompt was used to generate that image, the person who is the closest to that prompt wins!

How we built it

We used Svelte as a framework to build the app. We went through different variations of the same concept and ended up sticking to this one

Challenges we ran into

We had issues with the domain and we tested it with actual users to make sure that the gameplay was set up properly.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the amount of users we were able to gather, we asked our fellow hack the hillers to try our lovely website, they enjoyed themselves very much and gave us great feedback on things to add, things they liked and so much more. Overall this hackathon was very memorable.

What we learned

We learned that it's possible to stay true to ourselves and capabalities whilst learning many new things on our own!

What's next for CLASH OF SLOPS

We want to maybe have more users so it can be something that is maybe known on campus as a fun thing to do. It's pretty fun since you have 15 seconds to guess and you can end up saying some pretty funny stuff within that time limit. I will say I definetly enjoyed playing this, I can't even lie
