Inspiration : My lived experiences as a neurodivergent immigrant in Germany.
What it does : Helps neurodivergent immigrants navigate day-to-day conversations with native speakers, especially during time-paced or high stress situations
How I built it : Wrote down my lived experiences, the emotions I have felt every time I faced such a situation. Framed a problem statement, made a persona, ideated on possible solutions, generated lo-fo prototype and a working hi fi mockup
Challenges I ran into : Being my first hackathon, as a dentist transitioning into UX design, doing things solo wasn't easy, but it has been a great learning experience!
Accomplishments that I'm proud of : The fact that I could do so much within a day. I'm quite proud of myself!
What I learned : There is always scope for improving people's lives through thoughtful and inclusive design.
