Inspiration

I got my Inspiration from the challenges I faced from summarizing of articles and online webpages, platforms that I could get, had a high cost so I decided to build my own that would aid students better and cheaper.

What it does

Clarity Summarizer is an extension from Google that comes with built in Gemini Nano Ai that aids students in summarizing of articles, long online research papers making it easier and faster to grasp the main concept. Clarity also comes with an offline feature for students who do not have good network.

How I built it

Clarity Summarizer is built on the foundation Gemini Nano Ai having different modes like High school, Undergrad, Graduate, Exam Preparation, Key Concepts, Study mode. It also comes with features like a toggle display, saving features (Copy, Json format, PDF), a feature also to simplify the language.

Challenges I ran into

Chrome AI API integration complexities Error handling without breaking UX Professional icon design from scratch Balancing advanced features with clean UI Contest compliance requirements Accomplishments that I am proud of Making Clarity Free for Students Like Me Clarity having am offline feature.
