Inspiration
We were thinking of a way to raise money for charity, where users can contribute to charity without it coming out of their own wallet.
What it does
First, you pick your charity, then you watch an ad to raise money for it. You are then prompted to play a game where you try to guess what's in the blurry picture. The more you guess, the clearer the picture will be. Once you've guessed it or you ran out of tries, you go to the leaderboard to see how you are performing.
There is a new picture everyday, if at the end of the day you are on top of the leaderboard, you will take all the players' revenue will be put forward to your chosen charity.
How we built it
We built it using CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
Challenges we ran into
One of our team members felt ill, so left before the end of the first day, which set us back a little.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to have collaborated to produce a viable product. We went out of our comfort zones and challenged our ideas to keep improving them.
What we learned
We learned how important it was to manage our time, and many new features of JavaScript that we weren't aware of before.
What's next for Clarity for Charity
We hope to have multiple games that the players can choose from, so that we reach a wider audience. We also hope to encourage people to use our website and make it a fully-fledged project.
