Inspiration

Millions of people receive important notices, support documents, school communications, healthcare instructions, benefit letters, legal notices, and crisis-related information that are difficult to understand. During stressful situations, people often struggle to identify what a document means, what actions are required, what deadlines matter, and where to find help.

We wanted to build an AI system that transforms confusion into clarity. Instead of simply generating answers, our goal was to create an intelligent support navigator that helps people understand complex situations, make informed decisions, and access relevant resources regardless of language, literacy level, or technical background.

This vision became ClarifyCare AI.

What it does

ClarifyCare AI is an AI-powered Support Simplification and Navigation Platform.

Users can:

  • Describe situations using text or natural language.
  • Receive plain-language explanations.
  • Identify important deadlines and urgency levels.

The platform combines document understanding, natural language processing, information extraction, summarization, recommendation systems, and generative AI to help users move from uncertainty to action.

Rather than simply answering questions, ClarifyCare AI focuses on helping people understand what matters, what to do next, and where to get help.


How we built it

ClarifyCare AI was developed as a full-stack AI application using modern web technologies and cloud-based AI services.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was balancing simplicity and accuracy.

Important support documents often contain legal, medical, educational, or administrative language that must be simplified without losing critical meaning.

This project taught us that the biggest challenge is often not finding information—it is understanding information.
