Inspiration
Evan wanted to use Clarifai for this project, and Jake came up with the idea for translating the results.
What it does
Captures an image from the webcam, gets tags from Clarifai, and translates them using Yandex.Translate.
How I built it
Built on c9.io using HTML5, node.js, and browserify.
Challenges I ran into
Trying to manage the asynchronous requests was difficult.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The layout of the page actually turned out looking pretty good - and its even a little responsive!
What I learned
I learned how to use Clarifai, Yandex.Translate, and CSS flexboxes.
