ClaimSync – Agentic Insurance Claims Processing

Inspiration Manual insurance claims processing is often slow, error-prone, and inconsistent. We wanted to demonstrate how agentic automation can accelerate claim handling while keeping humans involved for critical decisions. What it does ClaimSync automates the end-to-end insurance claims lifecycle by orchestrating AI agents, APIs, RPA, and human reviewers. It validates claims, analyzes documents, detects risks, recommends actions, and routes exceptions for approval.

We used UiPath Maestro for orchestration, AI Agents for claim assessment, APIs for policy and fraud checks, RPA workflows for automation, and human-in-the-loop tasks for review and approval.

Integrating multiple components, managing data flow between agents and workflows, configuring human-in-the-loop approvals, and ensuring seamless orchestration across services were key challenges.

We successfully built an agentic claims processing solution that combines AI, automation, APIs, and human expertise within a single orchestrated workflow using UiPath Maestro.

We gained hands-on experience with agentic automation, Maestro orchestration, AI-powered decision-making, human-in-the-loop processes, and designing scalable enterprise workflows.

We plan to enhance fraud detection, integrate additional insurance systems, support real-time claim monitoring, improve AI decision accuracy, and expand the solution to handle multiple claim types at enterprise scale.
