Inspiration
Insurance claims often involve lengthy document verification, missing information, conflicting details, and repeated manual checks. We wanted to create a solution that could reduce this friction and help claims teams make faster, more consistent decisions while keeping humans in control.
What it does
ClaimPulse uses agentic AI to analyze insurance claim documents, identify missing or conflicting information, explain detected issues, recommend the next best action, and intelligently route cases to the appropriate workflow or human reviewer. It turns a complex manual process into a structured, intelligent workflow.
How we built it
We designed ClaimPulse as an agentic workflow powered by Gemini and Google’s agentic AI ecosystem. The system processes claim information through multiple steps including document analysis, evidence validation, exception detection, recommendation, and case routing. Google Cloud services are used to support the application infrastructure and persistent data handling.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges was designing an agent workflow that could handle incomplete or conflicting claim information without making unsupported decisions. We also had to balance automation with human oversight, structure the outputs so that they were easy to understand, and make the workflow reliable enough for real-world insurance scenarios.
About the Project
ClaimPulse is an agentic AI-powered insurance claims resolution platform designed to reduce manual effort and improve the speed and consistency of claim processing.
Instead of acting as a simple chatbot, ClaimPulse follows a multi-step workflow. It analyzes claim documents, extracts relevant information, detects missing or conflicting evidence, explains exceptions, recommends the next best action, and routes the case appropriately.
The system is designed around a human-in-the-loop approach. AI handles repetitive analysis and workflow tasks, while important decisions can remain with human reviewers.
Our goal is to transform insurance claims from a slow, document-heavy process into a faster, more transparent, and intelligent workflow using agentic AI.
