Inspiration
Have you ever wanted to take part in your community and government, but didn't know how to? This is the problem that many of us face in today's world. There a many platforms that host various community projects, but it often takes a lot of research and time to find them. This inspired us to create Civitas, a synchronized web platform that encourages citizens to take an actively participate in their community, thereby increasing civic engagement and social impact.
What it does
Civitas is a website that allows citizens to submit and vote on ideas for community projects and initiatives. It has a simple registration process for users, and once they are registered, they will be able to submit their ideas for community projects and initiatives. The ideas would be categorized into different areas such as infrastructure, social welfare, environment, etc. Each idea would have a brief description and an estimated budget. Users can then browse through the ideas and vote on the ones they support. The ideas with the most votes would be considered for implementation by the local government or community organizations. This website would also provide a platform for community members to collaborate and discuss the feasibility of the ideas. Civitas is designed to be user-friendly and accessible to all, with the goal of encouraging greater civic participation in local decision-making.
