Millions of people worldwide remain disconnected from welfare opportunities due to scattered information, language barriers, and complex eligibility requirements. Seeing this persistent gap, we wanted to create a solution that makes social benefits accessible, personalized, and inclusive for everyone, everywhere.

Problem We Address

Fragmented welfare portals, scattered across governments and NGOs, make it difficult for individuals to find the schemes they are eligible for. Many people miss out on critical benefits due to lack of awareness, language barriers, or complicated application processes.

Proposed Solution

CiviLink Global is an AI-powered platform that centralizes global welfare information, providing personalized scheme recommendations based on a user’s profile, location, and needs. It supports multiple languages and integrates data from governments and NGOs to create a single, inclusive gateway for welfare access.

Challenges & Learning

Building a prototype that could represent global access was challenging. We had to:

• Conceptualize a system for multiple regions without relying on local-only schemes.
• Ensure the UI is inclusive, simple, and visually appealing.
• Represent measurable impact with realistic, understandable metrics.

Through this process, we honed our skills in UI/UX design, civic tech ideation, and solution storytelling.
