Inspiration
Citizens often struggle to understand government services, find the right office, or know the required documents before visiting. This leads to long queues, repeated visits, and frustration. We wanted to build something simple, accessible, and helpful — a platform that brings all civic information into one place so people can “Know Before You Go.”
What it does
Civic सेवा is a user-friendly platform that helps citizens quickly find essential information about public services, including:
Required documents for each government service
Office locations and working hours
Step-by-step procedures
Fee details (if any)
Smart recommendations based on user queries
Built-in AI assistant “Karmachari” that answers questions in real time
In short, it saves time, reduces confusion, and makes government services easier for everyone.
How we built it
Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Design: Clean UI with responsive layout for mobile and desktop
AI Chatbot (Karmachari): JS-based interactive chat UI + AI integration (OpenAI/Gemini planned)
Data: Collected through government portals and verified sources
Features: Easy navigation, service categories, search filter, chatbot, and “Know Before You Go” guides
