Inspiration

In an era where civic engagement often feels disconnected, we were inspired to create an application that bridges the gap between local governments and communities. Civic Connect was born from the vision of fostering transparency, participation, and trust in the governance process. We believe that by empowering citizens with the right tools, we can shape more inclusive and effective communities.

What it does

One of the main challenges was ensuring data privacy while maintaining transparency in communication. Implementing blockchain technology provided a solid solution, but required overcoming technical hurdles related to integration and user experience. Additionally, designing an inclusive platform that caters to diverse communities required iterative testing and feedback.

How we built it

Civic Connect was built using the Bolt.new platform, making our development process efficient and adaptive. We started by designing a user-friendly interface that simplifies the user journey. The backend leverages blockchain technology on Algorand to ensure secure, trustless communication and data integrity. We also integrated AI functionalities using ElevenLabs to offer a conversational interface for users, enhancing accessibility and engagement.
