Our project is a Civic AI–based issue reporting and resolution platform designed to improve transparency, accountability, and efficiency in public service delivery. The main goal of this project is to ensure that civic issues reported by citizens are not ignored, are resolved within a fixed time, and are tracked transparently. 🔹 Problem Identified In traditional complaint systems: Issues are reported but not tracked properly There is no fixed resolution time Citizens do not know the status of their complaints Authorities lack accountability This often leads to delays, inefficiency, and loss of public trust. 🔹 What We Built We built a mobile application using Flutter connected to a cloud-based backend. The system allows citizens to report issues such as road damage, water leakage, sanitation problems, or electricity faults through a simple interface. Once an issue is submitted: The system automatically assigns a Service Level Agreement (SLA) based on the issue type A deadline is generated automatically The issue status is tracked in real time 🔹 Smart SLA Tracking & Escalation One of the core features of our project is smart SLA management: Each issue has a predefined resolution time The system continuously monitors the remaining time Warning notifications are triggered when the deadline is near If the SLA is breached, the issue is automatically escalated to higher authorities This ensures issues cannot be silently ignored. 🔹 Accountability & Transparency To improve accountability: Every action is time-stamped Issue status is visible to users Performance dashboards and leaderboards show how efficiently issues are handled This creates responsibility-driven governance. 🔹 Use of AI (Supportive Role) AI is used in a controlled and supportive way: To assist in issue categorization To summarize complaints To assess urgency levels The core logic, workflow design, SLA rules, and system architecture were designed and implemented by us. 🔹 Technology Stack Used Flutter (Dart) – Frontend mobile application Firebase Firestore – Backend database Firebase Authentication – User management Cloud-based architecture – Scalability and reliability 🔹 Real-World Impact This system: Reduces paperwork Saves time and resources Improves service delivery speed Builds trust between citizens and authorities 🔹 Conclusion Our project transforms civic issue management from a passive complaint system into an active, SLA-driven, and accountable governance solution. It is scalable, cost-effective, and suitable for real-world deployment by municipal bodies, aligning with digital governance and smart city initiatives.
