Inspiration
We were inspired by the cutting-edge experience developed by Airbus and we wanted to bring this kind of air transport closer to people.
What it does
It should show the routes of the AirBus CityLink around Manchester.
How we built it
Backend: python Frontend: javascript, html, css
Challenges we ran into
Connecting to CORS, making pop ups appear when nodes are clicked
Accomplishments that we are proud of
Managed to create nodes (landing points) and edges (routes), and showing them up on the page.
What wo learned
Learned how to use a new library. Did OOP in python. Worked with JSON objects.
What's next for CITYAIRBUS CHALLENGE
Making the notes pop up details: no of passengers, estimated arrival time, battery. And also making them static on the map.
