City's transport

Inspiration

I came from Singapore and traveled to Poland during my winter break. I realized that in different cities, there are different transport systems. This led to stress and also an increase dependency on taxis

What it does

By searching the city you are in, you will get the public transport company website, payment method and whether is it a payment per trip or per distance.

How we built it

I used HTML, CSS and JavaScript to build the website. I also collected the database of the city and country from the UN.

Challenges we ran into

The database that joins the city and the public transport company requires me to pay and there is a waiting time. Next time, I would consider what are the important part that I need and check beforehand if they are available. Also due to my inexperience with coding, I could not get the JavaScript working. However, I was able to have the HTML and CSS file work. I also manage to create a json file from a csv file in python.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I managed to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript within a night. I only learned basic Python. So I am very proud of myself since this is my first hackathon and my team of 3 left, with me being the only remaining survivor.
