How we built it 💡
- Design Team 🎨 The Design Team focused on creating a seamless and engaging experience for both businesses and players. We began by brainstorming innovative ways to blend marketing with scavenger hunts, ensuring the concept would appeal to diverse users. Through interactive prototypes, we mapped out the game process, emphasizing user-friendly mechanics that made participation intuitive and rewarding. Special attention was given to the gamification features: feedback and achievement systems, ensuring players received clear, satisfying progress updates. We also mapped out the City Hunter's broader ecosystem, envisioning how businesses, participants, and the platform could collaborate to create mutual value.
- Development Team 💻 The Development Team turned these ideas into a functional platform through cutting-edge technology. On the front end, we used Vue.js to build an intuitive interface that brought the scavenger hunt experience to life, ensuring smooth navigation and interactivity. For the immersive game environment, we integrated Google 3D Maps API, allowing businesses to place markers and participants to explore hunts visually rich in detail.

During the design and development process of City Hunter, we encountered several challenges that pushed us to think creatively and adapt quickly. One major challenge was how to integrate the Google 3D Map API with our game concept while ensuring it provided immersive marketing value for businesses. Balancing a user-friendly interface with the complexity of the treasure hunt mechanics was another challenge, as we wanted to keep the experience engaging without overwhelming users. Managing these technical and design issues within tight timelines tested our team's collaboration and problem-solving skills but ultimately shaped City Hunter into a more unique and dynamic platform.
