We were inspired by flying simulators and New Years!
What it does
Roam around New York City while connecting spinning coins before time runs out!
How We built it
Used blender and Open Street Map to model some of New York City and used Unity and Visual Studio to create the game!
Challenges We ran into
Last minute challenges included ditching the building textures and focusing on coin collection.
Accomplishments that We're proud of
We're proud of completing this hack and learning about how to host websites with GitHub, playing around with Unity and coding in C#. We're proud of how much we were able to achieve in such a short amount of time.
What We learned
Tina learned how to use blender, Unity, and dipped her toes in C# for the first time. Midhat learned about Unity, HTML and CSS.
What's next for City Flight
Render textures on buildings, set ambient lighting, adjust controls and add more sound effects and music.
