Inspiration
The models were inspired by the European-style assets from Cities: Skylines.
What it does
These models are designed for use in a personal procedural city generator project, made to fit into grid sizes varying from 1x1 to 3x3.
How I built it
All models were created in Blender, with attention to form, scale, and texture mapping suitable for game-ready environments.
Challenges I ran into
I often found myself spending too much time perfecting small details and fixing minor imperfections, which slowed overall progress.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I’m proud of finding a balance between visual appeal and simplicity—creating buildings that look good without being overly complex or too plain.
What I learned
I learned more about architectural modeling, optimizing geometry, and effectively mapping textures for assets.
What's next for City Creator Assets
I plan to expand the asset pack with a wider variety of buildings, including different styles and designs to make generated cities feel more dynamic and realistic. Additionally, there are plans to model and program corner-specific buildings, allowing for more natural and realistic street layouts with smoother transitions at intersections.
