Inspiration

We had a class about carbon emissions so we based it on that.

What it does

The Discord bot educates the user on how much carbon their city has.

How we built it

We used Python for the calculations of carbon emissions and Node.js for the Discord bot.

Challenges we ran into

We kept getting errors about non-ASCII letters for the poppulation.csv file we used.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

After spending an hour we figured out the issue was based on a single line of code.

What we learned

Even 5 letters could change the whole behavior of your code.

What's next for City Carbon

We plan to make it a website
