Project Background

The problem we’re solving is the lack of efficient communication and collaboration between citizens and local governments in addressing community issues. Many pressing problems, such as poor infrastructure, missing persons, and accidents, go unresolved due to a lack of awareness or action. Citizens often struggle to get their voices heard, and local governments face challenges in prioritizing and addressing these concerns.

Solution Overview

CitiSync addresses this by providing a platform where citizens can report issues, such as broken roads or safety concerns, and collaborate with others to raise awareness through upvoting, downvoting, and commenting. In Phase 1, issues are identified and geotagged, allowing local authorities to receive detailed reports. In Phase 2, citizens can propose solutions and gather support for them, which are then submitted to local governments. In Phase 3, citizens debate proposed solutions, ensuring that all perspectives are considered before a final decision is made. Additionally, a leaderboard ranks cities based on their performance in solving community issues, encouraging local governments to act quickly and efficiently.
