Inspiration
The inspiration behind our app is to foster community-driven environmental supervision by mobilizing communities to take proactive steps towards environmental sustainability.
What it does
SDG 11 We aim to utilize the collective action of individuals to positively impact their local environments through organized clean-up efforts using technology to simplify the process of organizing and participating by gamification elements,maps for identifying cleanup sites and real time updates to name a few.
How we built it
We used Dart,flutter and firebase
Challenges we ran into
Data and network issues for setting up team meetings/daily stand-ups to discuss the project. -While busy with the app we encountered problems setting up firebase -While recording the video there were problems
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are happy about the few community engagements we received as a shared idea in terms of research We have managed to put together an app even though it doesn’t have its full features
What we learned
We learnt about the importance of health in our communities and how we can keep it clean We learnt a lot about firebase and what was needed
What's next for citi-smart
To put the finishing touches to making our environment cleaner
