Inspiration

researching paper is often extremely time consuming, even with things like google scholar, students and researchers alike spend ages reading through papers that often relate little to their interest.

What it does

Cite4Me, cites4you, intelligently, and reliably.

How we built it

• Frontend: React + Vite + Typescript + Tailwind CSS
• APIs: OpenAlex (research paper), Anthropic Claude (LLM)

Challenges we ran into

• CORS: As our project have no backend, calling Claude API triggers a CORS violation
• Prompt engineering: We have to refine the prompts for generating queries, evaluating papers, and refining statements
