Circus of Pain

A dark, hard-rock/metalcore descent into a haunted circus where the band becomes trapped as their own marionettes in a nightmarish performance of chaos and control.

Inspiration

There was no real true inspiration for this music video. Halloween was coming up, and I had an idea in the middle of the night, and a few lines in my head.

How we built it

I built this video using multiple AI tools. To help flesh out the few lyrics I had and to add on to it, to make a complete song, I used ChatGPT. Then I used Suno AI to create the music. After getting the song together, I used ChatGPT to get reference images for the band members I had in mind. Then used those in Vidu and OpenArt AI to make still images. Once that was complete, I used those images to create lip sync videos in OpenArt and b-roll videos in Vidu. Finally, to put the video all together, with editing and adding lyrics, I used CapCut.

Challenges we ran into

The only real challenge was getting the perfect images and videos while trying not to blow through credits. Also, fitting the videos to the right part of the song to make things coherent and smooth.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Completing the project and not giving up on it.

What we learned

I've learned better ways to prompt while using AI tools.
