Our team was inspired to challenge this by building a high-performance, stable UAV drone from the ground up using accessible hardware. We wanted to use brushless motors, ESCs, and other working parts to build a drone that could tackle the issue of waste management.

We chose to use a drone prototype that flies over areas like farmlands in two major types: on-farm waste and urban garbage that is dumped in an unauthorized manner. It will calculate the exact location of the waste using trigonometry, distance calculations of coordinates and 3D planes as well as a GPS. Afterwards, it will report to the user for its cleanup.
