## Inspiration
As a computer science student, I often struggled with the overwhelming number of resources spread across different platforms. Tutorials, notes, coding practice websites, documentation, and videos were all disconnected, making learning feel messy and unorganized. I wanted to create a single platform where students could access everything they need in one place without wasting time searching for resources. This idea inspired us to build Circuit CS - an all-in-one space designed to simplify the learning experience for CS students.
What it does
Circuit CS is a centralized platform that helps computer science students learn, practice, and stay organized more efficiently. It brings together useful resources, coding tools, educational content, and learning support into one clean and accessible interface. Instead of switching between multiple websites, students can use Circuit CS as a single hub for their learning journey.
How I built it
I built Circuit CS using Medo, which allowed us to develop and deploy the platform rapidly and efficiently. Using Medo’s development tools and integrations, I was able to focus more on designing the user experience and structuring the platform rather than spending excessive time on setup and infrastructure. I also integrated APIs and external tools to improve functionality and create a smoother user experience.
Challenges I ran into
One of the biggest challenges was organizing a large amount of information while still keeping the platform clean and user-friendly. Since the goal was to combine multiple functionalities into one space, balancing simplicity with usefulness took a lot of planning and redesigning. I also faced technical challenges while integrating APIs, managing responsiveness across devices, and debugging unexpected issues during development.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud of creating a platform that solves a real problem I personally experienced as a student. Turning an idea into a working product that can genuinely help others learn more efficiently was one of my biggest achievements. I am also proud of building an interface that feels simple, modern, and accessible despite combining many different features into one platform.
What I learned
Through this project, I learned a lot about full-stack web development, API integration, prompt engineering, and problem-solving. I also learned how powerful modern development platforms like Medo can be in speeding up the development process and helping transform ideas into working products more efficiently.
What's next for Circuit CS?
In the future, I want to expand Circuit CS by adding AI-powered study assistance, personalized learning recommendations, collaborative features for students, and more interactive coding tools. I also plan to improve performance, add more educational resources, and continue refining the platform based on student feedback to make it even more useful for learners worldwide.
