Inspiration
We were inspired by the vast array of modern mobile games out there, which have simple yet addicting premises.
What it does
How we built it
We used processing for all of it, using github to manage the large team size.
Challenges we ran into
The issue of enemy collision and player death were quite significant.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of our handling of smooth movement mechanics, as well as our ability to translate seamlessly from different windows of the product.
What we learned
We learned a ton about using java to create a visually enticing product. Previously, we were only aware of swing and its vast limitations.
What's next for Circles-and-Squares
We are considering putting this into a mobile form in the future, as it is perfectly designed for such a thing.
