A Quick look at the Phase 1 Application flow

Inspiration

As a part of Standard Chartered Bank family, we are constantly looking for solutions that can help towards sustainability development goals and a better future for all. Lack of transparency in supply chain and uneven consumption of valuable resources is a significant problem that needs to be dealt with. This project is a small step towards the goal.

What is this platform?

Circle Block is an end-to-end solution to enable the transformation from linear to circular economy creating significant social impact on sustainability and zero waste.

Technology Stack

We have used the default set of technologies to build this solution. Rust for blockchain programs. Web3 and React for the platform UIs. We will be developing mobile, web and API interfaces to attract more entities to the platform.

Challenges we ran into

Data sizes to be stored in the blockchain, serializer issues and optimizing the cost of the program were the biggest challenges we ran into during the initial stages of the project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are happy to be part of this hackathon and proud of whatever we have learned during this process. Every ounce learned is a blessing.

What's next for CircleBlock

We have planned a list of features for CircleBlock. However we are going with a phased approach. In the current phase, project is primarily a web3 project. Over the next phases will require more people and partnerships to integrate with external agencies and DeFi solutions.
