I was inspired by the circle to search feature in android and I thought that this feature should also be available for chrome users to enjoy.

When this extension is enabled you can use your right click as a measure to build a box and whatever is inside that box will be prompted for Gemini to use.

We built it using javascript with the help of Claude and Gemini.

We first had to figure out how it needs to be implemented. There were several version and one particular version which made the final inspiration was making it like gemini but I had to differentiate ourselves so we gave it a good and minimal look just like this lightweight application.

The feature that is nice to have is getting the information about the object and if you want to find more about it you can just do it you don't have to google it again.

We learnt and have more ideas but that maybe for the future that I want to encorporate the Gemini full app so you can have Gemini running and have your background uploaded basically running the whole app in it so that it can give you personalised suggestions too.
