What it does
This Alexa Skill is a convenient way to reference the specific steps involving the circle of product design process. Alexa will tell you the things you have to consider concerning each step of the process and show a corresponding picture.
How I built it
node.js lamda function running on aws.
Challenges I ran into
Adapting one of the APL sample multimodal displays was not possible.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
But I could easily build a multimodal design from scratch. A very basic one that is optimized for the medium hub only.
What I learned
Designing and testing the multimodal screen takes as long as designing and testing the VUI.
What's next for Circle of Product Design
Touch interface implementation and optimization of the multimodal design for the small hub as well as for the extra large tv.
