home page which says the mode of encryption(Matrix,Morse,Scramble). It also shows the files that are shared and received
-
In this matrix encryption you can choose no of rows and cols for encryption and before that enter message
-
finally you can name the file with password to unlock. you can also enable self destruct mode for self destructive message based on length
-
the receiver gets the self destructive message based on message length and the confidentiality of it
CIPHER.DOT is a full-stack cryptography web application built with Python (Flask) that lets users securely encrypt, store, share, and decrypt messages using three custom encryption algorithms — Matrix Cipher, Morse Code Cipher, and Scramble Cipher.
what it does
The platform features a secure user authentication system with SHA-256 hashed passwords, a personal file dashboard for managing encrypted files, and a sharing mechanism to send encrypted messages to other registered users. Encrypted outputs are saved as CSV files and protected with optional passwords.
What sets CIPHER.DOT apart is its CipherAI assistant — an integrated AI-powered layer that enables Speech-to-Text (STT) input using the Web Speech API (so you can speak your message instead of typing it) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) output using Google's GTTS library (so the decrypted message is read aloud by the AI). The platform also supports multi-language translation via the Google Translate API, allowing messages to be encrypted or decrypted in any language.
The most distinctive feature is the Self-Destruct Message System — inspired by spy-thriller one-time-read messages. When enabled, the timer is dynamically calculated based on the message's word count and the average human reading speed (200 WPM) vs. CipherAI's speech rate (140 WPM), ensuring CipherAI can fully read the message before it's destroyed. Once the countdown expires, the message is permanently erased from both the UI and the server's file system — making it completely unrecoverable.
The UI is built with a premium cyberpunk dark aesthetic — featuring scanline overlays, neon cyan glows, glassmorphism cards, and smooth micro-animations that make secure communication feel immersive and futuristic.
