CineVector Vault: ClickHouse Continuity Intelligence

Inspiration

AI-generated films often lose character, costume, and lighting continuity between shots. CineVector Vault makes that drift searchable and explainable instead of relying on memory or manual scrubbing.

What it does

The application converts shot descriptions and frame metadata into continuity evidence, queries reference takes, and exposes explainable matches and production KPIs. Gemini structures cinematic observations; ClickHouse stores and queries the reference evidence through official mcp-clickhouse.

How we built it

The public judge application now runs in full live mode on Cloud Run revision cinevector-vault-live-00003-w8l. Through the stable Vercel URL, a public SQL request passed through official mcp-clickhouse and returned ClickHouse Cloud version 26.2.1.558 plus three stored reference rows. The Screening Room contains a fixed, pre-generated Veo/Lyria reel; it is evidence media, not on-demand generation.

ClickHouse Support case 00052860 confirmed that the organization trial is extended through October 10, 2026, covering the complete judging window through October 8.

Challenges

The largest challenge was maintaining honest boundaries between implemented integrations, authenticated provider evidence, and deterministic fixtures. We also remediated the cinematic reel to remove recognizable commercial superhero design cues.

What we learned

A database track is strongest when judges can inspect a real query result and understand the schema, identity boundaries, and failure behavior—not merely see a database logo.
