Traditional pre-production workflows are fragmented across screenwriters, storyboard artists, and directors. Turning a raw concept into shootable cinematic material often requires days of back-and-forth formatting. We envisioned an autonomous, real-time directorial studio—CineCraft Director OS—that bridges creative intent and on-set technical execution within seconds.

What it does

CineCraft Director OS serves as an autonomous co-director and technical supervisor for creative productions:

• Hollywood Spec Screenplay Generation: Converts short creative loglines into production-ready scripts with standard sluglines, action paragraphs, and formatted character dialogues.
• Shot-by-Shot Technical Breakdown: Generates lens specifications (35mm, 50mm, 85mm), camera setups (Slow push-in, handheld drift, high-angle master), and lighting directives.
• Diegetic & Foley Soundscape Mapping: Produces synchronized acoustic cue sheets matching camera transitions and narrative pacing.
• Cloud Scene Vault: Persists generated production assets into high-performance cloud storage for seamless retrieval across production teams.

How we built it

• Intelligence Engine: Powered by Google's Gemini API for zero-shot script structuring, directorial voice emulation, and structured scene generation.
• Database & Vault Architecture: Powered by ClickHouse Cloud for real-time scene indexing, relational persistence, and ultra-low-latency query retrieval.
• Frontend & Orchestration: Built with an interactive UI stack providing instantaneous playback monitoring, real-time directorial parameter tuning, and live production feeds.

Challenges we ran into

• Handling structured output parsing across deep screenplay conventions while preserving artistic narrative flow.
• Ensuring seamless cloud database handshakes and low-latency scene retrieval without blocking client-side user experience.

• Delivering a unified studio interface that exports scripts, camera setups, and acoustic notes in a single directorial pass.
